Justine Barrow

Justine Barrow is the Director of Sunbury Physiotherapy Clinic. She commenced a Bachelor of Behavioural Science at La Trobe University in 1997 before undertaking the Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne. She graduated with Honours in 2001. Justine has worked in private practice since, gaining experience in treating a wide variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal and sports injuries. She joined the Sunbury Physiotherapy Clinic in 2003, happy to return to the local area, having previously lived in New Gisborne for over 20 years.

Justine took over ownership of the Sunbury Physiotherapy Clinic in April 2009 and also completed her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in this year. This provided her with the opportunity to work with elite sporting teams such as the Melbourne Storm and at the Victorian and Australian Institutes of Sport. She has also attained the title of APA Sports Physiotherapist. She continues to be passionate about advancements in physiotherapy research and has a strong focus on professional development which is fostered in her team. She has previously held committee positions with the Australian Physiotherapy Association

Justine’s areas of clinical interest include assessing and managing sporting injuries (particularly in runners and cyclists) as well as managing headache and dizziness problems. 
Justine is a dedicated sports person herself, she is proud to have run two Melbourne marathons and is an avid bike racer attaining the title of Victorian Hill Climbing Champion in 2015 and 2016 and becoming the UCI world champion in road racing in 35-39 year age group in 2016.
